Continuity Editing

14/12/2018 Continuity Editing Learning Objective:  To explore the concept of continuity editing and create a scene using continuity editing. Definition: A system of cutting used to maintain continuous and clear narrative by following a clear set of rules and shots. Establishing Shot:     Shot/ Reverse Shot:     180 Degree Rule:    30 Degree Rule: Crosscutting: Match On Action:    Eyeline Match: Re-establishing Shot:     My challenge today was cutting and putting the clips back together so it looked good. I chose to crosscut between the scenes. I found not making it look too jumpy quite difficult. I enjoyed watching it before i started. My finished scene was a mix of the two scenes.

12/12/2018 SFX Learning Objective:  To create a realistic green screened clip using iMovie. What is included under special effects: Types of  effects  that are commonly used  include : flying  effects , laser lighting, theatrical smoke and fog, CO 2  effects ,  green screening and pyrotechnics.  Effects created using any means possible, but can include audio as well.
