To raise awareness of certain problems and issues and influence and persuade. For profit. To educate people.   Types of News: UK World Business Polotics  Tech Science Health Family and Education Entertainment and Art Fake News: Fake news is stories that have been edited, changed or made-up for a commercial or political reason and have been deliberately shared. It is bad because it makes people think something is true when it is not.

11/1/2019 SFX Make up tutorials Learning Objective:  To create effective and convincing scars and cuts using a variety of techniques. Liquid Latex Technique: Add a layer of latex and wait for it to dry a little before covering it with a piece of tissue.  Add more layers of latex and tissue until you have at least 5 layers. Get a toothpick and cut a hole through the layers of latex and tissue but leave one later at the bottom next to your skin. Add foundation to match your skin. Put red and black face paint in the hole where you want the blood to be. Add fake blood.   Scar Putty Technique:  Roll out two pieces of scar putty into sausages and put them into an oval shape where you want your cut to be. Smooth out the edges of the putty into your skin. Add foundation around the cut. Put red and black face paint in the middle where you want the cut to be. Add fake blood.

14/12/2018 Continuity Editing Learning Objective:  To explore the concept of continuity editing and create a scene using continuity editing. Definition: A system of cutting used to maintain continuous and clear narrative by following a clear set of rules and shots. Establishing Shot:     Shot/ Reverse Shot:     180 Degree Rule:    30 Degree Rule: Crosscutting: Match On Action:    Eyeline Match: Re-establishing Shot:     My challenge today was cutting and putting the clips back together so it looked good. I chose to crosscut between the scenes. I found not making it look too jumpy quite difficult. I enjoyed watching it before i started. My finished scene was a mix of the two scenes.

12/12/2018 SFX Learning Objective:  To create a realistic green screened clip using iMovie. What is included under special effects: Types of  effects  that are commonly used  include : flying  effects , laser lighting, theatrical smoke and fog, CO 2  effects ,  green screening and pyrotechnics.  Effects created using any means possible, but can include audio as well. Other atmospheric  effects  can  include  flame, confetti, bubbles, and snow.   Definition of CGI: Computer-generated imagery (special visual effects created using computer software). 28/11/2018 Trailers and Genre Learning Objective:  To use iMovie to experiment with genre and trailers. WWW: I used music and sound effects EBI: Give more storyline. Verbal Feedback: WWW: You added the music to fit what was happening and added filters. EBI:  Added more transitions.

21/11/2018 DIRT Learning Objective:  To show development of Photoshop skills and understanding of genre and layout. Target: To work on placement and adjusting colours on photoshop to make the background match the picture and to get more done in the time given. My Poster: WWW: I improved by placing the components of a movie poster in the correct place. EBI: Make the foreground match the background more. Peer Assessment By Livi:   The poster was really really good and i love it. One of the main problems is that you need to try to blend the image into the background. other than that BOOTYFULL DAHLING!
