Learning Objective: To create a realistic green screened clip using iMovie.



What is included under special effects:

  • Types of effects that are commonly used include: flying effects, laser lighting, theatrical smoke and fog, CO2 effects,  green screening and pyrotechnics.  Effects created using any means possible, but can include audio as well. Other atmospheric effects can include flame, confetti, bubbles, and snow.
 Definition of CGI:
  • Computer-generated imagery (special visual effects created using computer software).
